International Baccalaureate

For students in grades 9-10

The Middle Years Program (MYP) at Roosevelt is for 9th and 10th grade students. It provides a framework of learning that encourages students to become creative, critical and reflective thinkers. The MYP emphasizes intellectual challenge, encouraging students to make connections between their studies in traditional subjects and the real world. It fosters the development of skills for communication, intercultural understanding and global engagement—essential qualities for young people who are becoming global leaders.

For students in grade 11 & 12

The Diploma Program (DP) is an internationally-recognized assessed program for students in grades 11 and 12. DP courses prepare students to ask challenging questions, learn how to learn, develop a strong sense of self and culture, and develop the ability to communicate with people from different countries and cultures.  

For students in grade 11 & 12

The Career-related Program (CP) at Roosevelt enables students to widen their participation in IB by incorporating the vision and educational principles of IB into a unique program specifically developed for students who wish to engage in career related learning.
